On Tuesday at the Europeans, after a short delay, Race 1 could be started at 11.26 local time. A brise of 6 to 8 knots from Norteast let the boat start with black flag and no premature starters. With 5 to 6 knots the boats did two rounds on the up-and-down. After that the race officer decided to shorten the race at the leeward gate. The last boats managed to finish within time limit with only 2 knots of wind.

At 2pm there was total calm again and AP was up at the UYCAs flagpole.

At 5pm the race committee stops that day: "No more race today. Next Start tomorrow at 10.30".

Race 1 was won by UKR 7 with Markus Wieser, Sergey Pugachev and Matti Paschen.
