A very eventful day today again with 15+ knots across the race course. Race 4 of the Championship was won by Andreas Brechbuhl (HKG25) as Marc Castagnet (HKG1) who was leading missed the spreader mark. Andreas commented: "HKG25 had a great day, happy to come first in race 4. Races 5 and 6 did not work out that well though.... in race 6 we had some spi problems, resolved with cockpit hoist; new experience, quite fast. Crew almost too tired to open a beer on the way back...must be they are dreaming about Belgium beer...or hard working for a few hours?". Tam Nguyen won Race 5 and Marc Castagnet finished the day with a bullet on Race 6. The start of Race 6 was hectic with a collision where HKG55 ended up with a hole in his hull under the water line and had to retire (and got a redressed). With 3 more races to come and and 2nd discard to kick in after 8 races, Frederic Azemard (HKG47) is leading with 12 points thanks to a great consistency throughout the event so far. But he is closely followed by Tam with 12.6 points after redress, Lowell Chang at 14 points and Marc Castagnet at 17 points. One of them is likely to become the Hong Kong Champion - Tomorrow should be an exciting day!
