Petticrows & Fritz Sails go East exhibiting at Moscow Boat Show with Russian Dragon Association.
A great premiere in the history of both Petticrows shipyard and Fritz Sails loft has taken place last week, when both took the challenge and participated for the first time in their history in the International Moscow Boat Show, that has just taken place from 12 till 17 March.
Moscow Boat Show is one of the relatively young fairs on the maritime market, celebrating its 6th anniversary this year. The show has again proved to be as emerging as the whole Russian economy, almost doubling its exhibition area compared to the previous year and counting more than 350 exhibitors from 17 different countries.
Petticrows and Fritz Sails were present on the most extended stand of Russian Sailing Federation, promoting the beauty of the Dragon together with the Russian Dragon Association, that also made its premiere this year at the boat show.
The shining white of Fritz Sails, the sails of the winners, set up on the fully rigged and trimmed Petticrows Dragon, that is sailed by the majority of the Russian fleet, could not but make the passing guests stop for much more than just a while to gaze at the most beautiful of all monotypes and follow the gripping tour of the boat, conducted by the Olympic Champion of Atlanta Igor Matvienko, who came to Moscow just for the very sake of supporting the strive of the Russian Dragon Association to promote the Dragon.
It was a couple of years ago that Fritz Sails made a significant step founding its official dealership for Russia and CIS, based in Moscow and St.Petersburg. The business model proved its efficiency throughout the years, bringing the clients even more personalized service having their Fritz Sails partner on site and being able to communicate in their mother tongue, let it be new sails order, repair or even personalized spi logo pront.
And so it came 2013 at this very boat show, that also Petticrows went really East announcing the foundation of its official dealership for Russia and CIS, appointing Alexander Shalagin and Tatiana Kurbatova as its official representatives and Vessel Service company , based in St.Petersburg, as its official maintenance partner.

Russian Dragon Open, taking place this year in St.Petersburg from 25 till 30 June, will again gather all the lovers of Dragon sailing, bringing not only the national legends together, but also some well known names from abroad.
The venue will be holding the Dragon Europeans 2016 and is already preparing for it, inviting all the Dragons to come and enjoy sailing on the waters of the Baltic see at day and the beauty of the city at night, where it actually never gets dark in June...
