Change of scenery and especially breeze to thirty competitors from France open Dragon YC organized by the Grande Motte.
Heralded as one of the favorites, German January Vortmann was dissatisfied with his first day of racing in light winds. The breeze of the second race gave him the opportunity to win. From the start he was going to head, very motivité then pulled ashore in the west wind playing tramontanes. Twenty five knots early in the race and thirty imposed end to all physical exertion, brands sometimes difficult to counter in this extremely choppy and even formed three crew thrown their clumsiness, sometimes brutal when maneuvering under spinnaker or meadows.
In the wake of Vortmann leader very detached from beginning to end, the best french pressed to strengthen their regularity. The local John Voortman Breger followed throughout the race and ensured, energy deserved a second place before Remy Arnaud and Gerard Blanc.
So good score for Voortman Breger and their bad first day but leaves respectively eleven and seventh in the overall standings with the best seats are taken by Gerard BLANC Cannes and Montpellier Emmanuel Standing YC member of the Grande Motte which were the Baulois Remy Arnaud, most regular.
These two sets the tone in the weak and strong breezes. Expected for the last two days of moderate winds from the west.
