Key championship updates
-90th Anniversary Regatta can no longer be held in Cannes as the subscriptions already exceed 120. It will either be in Monaco, or St Tropez. We expect a decision by early November.
-Netherlands reported detailed preparations for the GC in 2019 in Medemblik, which will include a very strong race management team that includes Team Chairman John Borsboom, Race Officer Nino Shmueli and IDA Sailing Coordinator Martin Payne.
-Venues for 2022 elected: Europeans will be in San Remo; Gold Cup in Ostend
-Venue for 2023 Gold Cup elected: UK, either Abersoch or Torquay
