Volvo Open Dragon du Morbihan 2011

Last year, was the inaugural running of the Volvo Open Dragon du Morbihan, which was very successful. During the course of organizing the event, we discovered that there were 4-5 Classic Dragons racing (on a mixed fleet/handicap basis) in the Golf du Morbihan, with a further 2 in a similar position in La Trinite sur Mer.

The owners were contacted, and all with the exception of one entered. With such a great response, naturally a Classic Dragon category was created together with prizes to suit. The response was very positive indeed, in that participants thoroughly enjoyed racing against DRAGONS ONLY, added to which some of their good results raised eyebrows within the modern boats.

The Yacht Club Crouesty, Arzon would be delighted to welcome Classic Dragon owners to enter the Volvo Open Dragon du Morbihan in 2011, the dates are as follows:

September 7-11.
