Cowes Classics Week 25-29 July 2011

A quick note to alert everyone that the NOR and 1st amendment have been published - and the on-line entry system is in place. The programme has been refined and should provide the usual full-on week with some different ideas from other Cowes clubs. The Darings and XODs have invited us all to an Anniversary Reception to celebrate their 50th and 100th respectively.

The 1st amendment provides a low-cost entry for boats to sail in the Menagerie fleet - we would like this to be well supported and have a quorum in place already, so hopefully this will provide some additional incentive. If your class is not attending as a fleet or your boat is one-of-a-kind, this provides an opportunity to join in this event which has rapidly become the foremost annual jamboree for classic keelboats.

Hoping to see many of you there - regards, David Elliott,
